Joy's Story
After High School I went to MSU for a year. But due to financal concerns I was working full time until I could afford more schooling and got married to Lance Patterson from Seymour in 1990. Our daughter Tasha Rose was born in WF on 10-13-90. I joined the Army in 1992 as an Mp. My first duty station was in Brooklynwhere my family and I resided for a year. At the end of my time there, I filed for divorce and was stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. My daughter traveled with me and I spent almost 3 years there. charged and moved to Lafayette, Louisianna with my mother, step-father nd brother. I eventually met my current husband, Kevin Dore` and livd with him for 5 years. During this time I received my AS in computer networking. We were married 5 years after me met on April 10, 2004. He has a son by a previous relationship, but we have no children together. I am now working for the Post Office. have been with them almost a year, and since 9-1-07 as a city carrier in Breaux Bridge, LA.
